Wilderness Experience Loss Widens to $183,500

Wilderness Experience, the financially troubled outdoor-gear company based in Chatsworth, said it lost $183,500, or 3 cents a share, in the first quarter ended Jan. 31, compared to a loss of $163,800, or 2 cents a share, a year earlier. Sales fell 47.3%, to $608,800, in the quarter from the year-earlier period.
