Jerome G. Johnson was named senior vice president of 20th Century Insurance Co., based in Woodland Hills. Johnson was previously assistant vice president for operations for Allstate Insurance Co. in Northbrook, Ill.
Johnson, 54, will be responsible for a newly formed unit for premium accounting, information services and policy processing.
20th Century markets private automobile and homeowners’ insurance exclusively in California. It sells directly to consumers.
