English Summer School

The English Literature Summer School mentioned in the Tours and Cruises column March 8 brought back vivid memories of the most delightful recent two weeks when I was a participant. I lived with the Crabtrees, a wonderful English family, and learned much about English family life.
The seminars were intellectually stimulating, and it was interesting to exchange ideas with people from all over the world, including Japan, Australia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Canada, etc.
We had many more literary excursions than the three mentioned.
