The International Tower, a 32-story circular structure that is one of the tallest ocean-front residential buildings on the Pacific Coast, is being converted from apartments to condominiums.
Tenant sales for the 204 one- to three-bedroom units are under way and will continue until June. Public sales are scheduled to begin this summer. Prices then are expected to range from about $125,000 to $160,000.
The 20-year-old building, worth an estimated $40 million, is being renovated at a cost of $8 million.
It is located at Ocean Boulevard and Shoreline Drive within the Long Beach Redevelopment Area, where more than $1.4 billion in major new building projects are planned, completed or under way.
