The Uproar Among Television Preachers

Now I’ve seen everything. Imagine Cal Thomas, once a hired hack for Moral Majority, writing a column (Editorial Pages, March 25), “Repent, Ye Sinners in Thy Rich Pulpits.”

Where does Thomas get the right to criticize the likes of Oral Roberts or Jim Bakker? Whom did Thomas work for? None other then Jerry Falwell. And since when has Falwell taken a vow of poverty?
