Revelers Toss Bottle at Police Helicopter

A thrown beer bottle punched a hole in a police helicopter hovering 150 feet above an impromptu street party in Montecito Heights early Saturday, authorities said.
Neither of the two officers aboard the helicopter was injured, but damage to a plexiglass door grounded the Jet Ranger helicopter for the night, Officer Mike Castro said.
Frank Centeno, 19; Adrian Valazquez, 21, and Juan Pacheco, 18, all of Los Angeles, were booked for attempted murder and held without bail at the LAPD’s Parker Center jail, officers said.
