Eli Lilly is seeking a buyer for Elizabeth Arden.

Sixteen years after acquiring Elizabeth Arden Inc., the pharmaceutical giant wants out of the cosmetics business. Eli Lilly & Co. said it has retained Morgan Stanley & Co. to evaluate offers for Elizabeth Arden, which markets skin care, makeup products and fragrances, and operates 10 Red Door Salons around the country and the Maine Chance spa in Phoenix.
