Buddy LeRoux ended an uneasy alliance with the other two owners of the Boston Red Sox by selling them his general partnership in the club.

He said he decided reluctantly to sell to Haywood Sullivan and Jean R. Yawkey because they wouldn’t sell their shares to him and “a number of things have occurred in the past six months which were concerning to me.”
