Construction is scheduled to begin this spring on a 441-unit mobile home/manufactured-housing development by R. C. Roberts & Co. on an 83-acre parcel near Frank Sinatra Boulevard and Del Safari Avenue in Palm Desert.
The development will have a mix of 260 manufactured homes and 181 recreational vehicle sites for rent on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis, according to Bob Roberts, owner of the San Rafael-based firm.
The project will have a nine-hole golf course, three pools, two tennis courts and a clubhouse. The Roberts firm is completing sales in five RV and manufactured housing developments in the Coachella Valley.
