Peter E. Weber, 44, has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Teknowledge, a Palo Alto-based maker of expert systems software. He succeeds Lee Hecht, who remains chairman and CEO. Weber joins Teknowledge from FMC Corp., where he ran the firm’s engineering laboratories and electronics products division.
