Immigration Act Effect on Business Topic of Seminars
Two seminars on how businesses will be affected by the Immigration Reform and Control Act will be held this week in Los Angeles.
A Tuesday breakfast meeting, sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of the Associated General Contractors of California Inc., will be held at 7:30 a.m. at Conrad’s Chalon-Mart Restaurant downtown. Tickets are $10 and can be reserved through the AGC’s Los Angeles office.
On Friday, a 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. immigration symposium will be held at California State University, Los Angeles. The seminar is sponsored by the university’s Business and Economic Development Council and School of Business and Economics. Tickets are $20, and reservations must be made through Barrio Planners Inc. in East Los Angeles.
