Save the Horse Areas
I was reading an article in the Valley View section, called “Planners Put Reins to Law for Saving Horse Areas.†It was delightful to read something positive about preservation of horse areas.
Southern California is great, but how far will “the city†reach until there is no room to breathe?
As a horseman, I love wide-open spaces! However, I grew up in L. A., learned how to ride my grandfather’s horses in Griffith Park and now I live in “Old Agoura†so I can have my horse right out back.
I hope this latest effort to crunch development and option for horse-keeping areas will set a tone for the future.
