Minneapolis-based Minstar Inc. named Kenneth J. Severinson president and chief operating officer, succeeding Irwin L. Jacobs, who remains chairman and chief executive. Severinson, who previously was president of Minstar’s Energy Services Group, also was named a director in the firm.
