Lucas Named MVP of Empire League
Richard Lucas, a center from Katella High School, has been named the most valuable player in the Empire League in a vote of the league’s boys’ basketball coaches.
Lucas averaged 16.8 points. His 13.8 rebounding average was second in the county.
Los Alamitos had two players named to the first team, as did Katella.
