A 14-year-old Culver City boy who was shot and critically wounded in a longstanding dispute with his 77-year-old grandfather died a few minutes after his family ordered him removed from life support systems at Brotman Medical Center. Police said Anton Spanier shot Chris Spanier twice in the head with a .38-caliber revolver before shooting himself to death in the backyard of the family home.
