In past years, ABC’s coverage of the Ironman Triathlon from Hawaii has been excellent, but this year it was a disgrace. What with the coverage of a track star who turned to professional football and the race for the America’s Cup, we barely got to see the triathlon. The addition of the pretention of the viewer being in the race didn’t help with our enjoyment either.
