Saddleback’s 3 Pairs Beat Palomar, 6-2

Saddleback College scored twice in the fourth, sixth and eighth innings to beat Palomar, 6-2, Monday in a nonconference game at Palomar.

Gaucho pitcher Dave Holloway (1-0) gave up five hits in recording the victory. He was relieved by Jes Feathers in the seventh. Saddleback (2-0) collected 11 hits--including Scott Hefner’s two-run homer in the sixth--but committed five errors.
