The New Mexico State Penitentiary will turn an unused prison into a movie set for the filming of a remake of director Roger Vadim’s 1957 classic “And God Created Woman.” Shooting should begin March 2 at the empty prison south of Santa Fe and should continue for several weeks. Actress Rebecca DeMornay will play an inmate at a women’s prison in the film’s early scenes. DeMornay stars in the role originally played by Vadim’s former wife, Brigitte Bardot.
