Chicago-based Playboy Enterprises Inc. posted a profit in the second quarter of fiscal 1987, despite declining revenue, compared to a loss and higher sales in the same period a year earlier. Contributing to the net improvement was the $1.9-million gain recognized on the sale of Games magazine and the improvement in the operating performance of the Video Group.
