The United States posted a $250,000 reward for information about the terrorists who bombed a Trans World Airlines jet on a Rome-to-Athens flight last April. The bomb blew a hole in the fuselage, and four Americans fell to their deaths. State Department spokesman Charles Redman called the offer “another tool†in a U.S. effort to solve the murders. The reward was the fourth offered by the United States in terrorist assaults that have taken the lives of Americans. None has been collected or produced the murderers. No group or individual claimed responsibility for the TWA blast.
