Church to Install Its 1st Female Associate Pastor
Pastor Vicki Orr will be ordained and installed at a special service beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian Church of the Master, Oso and Marguerite parkways in Mission Viejo.
Presbyterian clergy and officials from throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties will be present at the ordination of Orr, who will become the church’s first female associate pastor. She has previously spent 10 years as director of Christian Education at the Laguna Presbyterian Church in Laguna Beach while getting her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
During the latter part of her studies, Pastor Orr spent a year at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove as a clinical pastoral educational intern, as well as an intern at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach.
