Diceon’s 1st-Quarter Net Earnings Up 6.7%

Diceon Electronics Inc. said that despite the ongoing slump in the computer industry its fiscal 1987 first-quarter net earnings were up 6.7% to $1.6 million from the year-earlier $1.5 million while revenue of $17.3 million was up 14.6% from $15.1 million a year earlier.

The Irvine circuit-board maker attributed results for the quarter ended Dec. 27 to the expansion of its sales department.
