Orange County Prep Soccer : Brea-Olinda Girls Defeat Anaheim

Sandy Tennison and Carrie Lewis each scored three goals as Brea-Olinda High School defeated Anaheim, 9-0, in an Orange League girls’ soccer match at Anaheim.

Jennifer Watkins added two goals for the Wildcats (1-0, 3-4-1) and Sandy Knechtle scored one.

Valencia 7, Orange Lutheran 0--Allison Hook and Kameron Sweeney each scored two goals for Valencia in an Orange League match at Valencia.

Kristi Osgard, Tricia Smaldino and Stacey Zirwas also scored for Valencia (1-0, 8-6-1).

In boys’ soccer:

Huntington Beach 1, Westminster 1--Steve Wryan scored on a penalty kick with 15 minutes remaining, giving Westminster a tie in a Sunset League match at Huntington Beach. Steve Wright scored for Huntington Beach (0-0-1, 4-7-2) in the first half.

Villa Park 3, Sunny Hills 0--Villa Park (12-0) shut out the Lancers in a nonleague game.
