Irvine Doubles Team Advances to Semifinal

The UC Irvine doubles team of Mike Cadigan and Shige Kanroji advanced to the semifinal round of the National Intercolligate Invitational tennis tournament at Milwaukee Friday by defeating Mike Johnson and Gary Williams of the University of Mississippi, 7-6, 4-6, 7-5, in a quarterfinal match.
Cadigan and Shige meet John Carras and Scott Melville of USC in a semifinal match today.
