The Cal State Long Beach women’s basketball team defeated Fairfield College of Connecticut, 78-53, Saturday night at Long Beach.
Cindy Brown scored 21 points to lead the 49ers (8-1). Shannon Smith added 15.
Karen Brandt was high for Fairfield with 14.
