Los Angeles County Supervisors asked the state to provide financial assistance to the family of a slain 7-year-old South Pasadena girl. Supervisor Mike Antonovich urged that $2,532 be allocated from the California Victims of Violent Crime Fund to pay for Phoebe Ho’s funeral. “Phoebe’s father is devastated by the loss of his daughter and has been unable to work since her disappearance,†Antonovich said. She vanished Dec. 11 on her way to school and her body was found several days later in Riverside County. The board last week voted to offer a $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer.
