Yields of seven-year Treasury notes fell.
The average yield was 7.09%, down from 7.21% at the last auction on Oct. 28. It was the lowest rate since seven-year notes averaged 7.03% on Nov. 4, 1976. A total of $7.28 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $19.04 billion. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 7% with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,950.20.
