Dennis Andries’ title defense against Thomas Hearns in the World Boxing Council’s light-heavyweight division, scheduled for Feb. 7, has been called off.

Showtime, which owns the TV rights to the fight, wants it rescheduled for March 20. Andries’ manager, Greg Steene, said he hoped to speak to promoter Bob Arum to set another date, preferably in late February.
