Dana Point : Incorporation Backers to Seek Extra Signatures
- Share via
Dana Point Citizens for Incorporation, a local group trying to form a city in the seaside town, will be gathering signatures on petitions at two supermarkets this weekend.
The group already has the 2,000 signatures it needs to submit an incorporation application to county officials but wants to get as many signatures as possible before turning the petitions in next week, Mike Eggers, the group’s chairman, said.
The petitions will be available today and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of Ralphs market in the Lantern Bay shopping center, and at Albertson’s at Stonehill Road and Del Obispo Street.
