Coronado’s Perley Adds to Tennis Titles
SAN DIEGO — Coronado’s Jim Perley, the national men’s hardcourt champion, defeated Mike Rabbitt of La Jolla, 7-6, 6-2, Sunday in the men’s 45 division during the final round of the Converse Senior Grand Prix Masters Tennis Championship at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.
In the 75 men’s singles division, Oceanside’s Bill Conel defeated Leonard Dworkin, 6-0, 3-6, 6-0.
The women’s 40 division doubles team of Brenda Stillman of Encinitas and Chris Machado of Cardiff defeated Andi Polisky of Los Angeles and Vicky Kilgore of Palm Springs, 6-4, 6-4.
