The University of Tulsa named Alabama assistant George Henshaw to replace Don Morton as head football coach. Henshaw is expected to join the Golden Hurricane after Alabama’s Sun Bowl game Christmas Day, Athletic Director John Benn said.
Henshaw, 38, who played college football at West Virginia, has been Alabama’s offensive coordinator for four years. Morton, 40, resigned at Tulsa Nov. 28 to become coach at Wisconsin.
