Flamemaster Posts 26% Increase in Earnings

Flamemaster, a Sun Valley maker of flame-retardant coatings for cables, reported that its net income for the fourth quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 26% to $139,279, or 10 cents per share.
Revenue was nearly $1.5 million, up 64% from the year-earlier quarter.
The increases reflect the consolidation of Flamemaster with Altius, a maker of steel cabinets used to store flammable liquids. Flamemaster owns 59% of Altius.
For the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, net income rose 25% to $311,020, or 22 cents per share. Revenue for the year increased 29% to $5.02 million.
