Sun Chemical agreed to sell a unit to Dainippon Ink.
New York-based Sun Chemical said it signed a definitive agreement with Dainippon Ink & Chemicals for the sale of Sun’s graphic arts-materials group to Dainippon for about $550 million in cash. The graphic arts group comprises printing ink and organic-pigments operations in Europe and Latin America and has about 3,800 employees.
