Local News in Brief : Motorcyclist Killed, 2 Hurt in Freeway Crash

One man was killed and at least two other people were injured in an accident Monday night on the Ventura Freeway near Parkway Calabasas, authorities said.
Few details were available late Monday, but a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said the dead man was a 19-year-old driver of a motorcycle that spun out of control on the slick freeway pavement about 8 p.m.
The names and conditions of the injured people, a man and a woman, also were unavailable. At least one other vehicle was involved, Los Angeles County Fire Capt. Tony Skultety said.
