San Diego police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in his Golden Hill home Monday.
Police were contacted at 4:10 p.m. by a man and woman who said they believed a friend was dead in his home, Sgt. Ross Stone said.
Stone said police accompanied the couple to a house in the 2200 block of G Street. There, they found the man on the kitchen floor, dead of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The man, whose identity was not released Monday, was Latino and in his late 20s, Stone said.
