“Moodtapes: Tranquility.” NTN. $39.95. Wound up? On edge? Don’t head for the medicine chest; turn on the VCR. Other mood-altering videos are available--notably the Windham Hill series--but it would be hard to find any program more relaxing than the first one-third of this tape, the initial entry in a projected series. Alternating between time-lapse nature photography by Richard Hardy and slow-motion ocean views by Ron Roy, and subtly scored (in stereo hi-fi) by Eric Bikales, “Tranquility” lives up to its name. The only problem with the tape (if it is a problem): The second and third parts simply repeat the same scenes using polarization and negative-image techniques. Information: in California (800) 342-4552; outside California (800) 654-7352.
