Rodger Davis fired a four-under-par 68 to score a one-stroke victory in the $175,000 Australian Open golf championship at the Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne.
The 35-year-old Australian finished with a 10-under-par 278, one shot ahead of countryman Ian Baker-Finch, who had led for the first three rounds, and two other Australians, Graham Marsh and Bob Shearer.
