Monrovia : Valley Schools Honored

Monrovia High School and Charles D. Jones Junior High in Baldwin Park were among 105 public and private schools honored at the first California School Recognition Program awards ceremony held in San Francisco. The schools received flags, plaques and certificates based on academic performance, the level of parent involvement and other criteria.
