TS Industries Inc., a maker of foam roof insulation and sheathing panels, said it has opened a 35,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Grenada, an island nation in the Caribbean.

The Huntington Beach-based company said the new plant will employ about 100 workers when it reaches capacity, and is expected to produce about $15 million worth of building panels a year.

For the nine months ended June 30, TS Industries reported record net income of $1 million on sales of $21.3 million. Results for the fiscal year, which ended Sept. 28, are not expected until early December, the company said.
