Davis Coach Among Top Candidates to Replace Kapp at Cal
UC Davis football Coach Jim Sochor said Friday he is among “five or six†candidates to fill the vacancy at the University of California.
Joe Kapp, 19-32-1 in five years as Cal’s coach (1-7 this season), was fired Wednesday.
Sochor is 139-34-4 in 17 years at Davis.
