Kay Davis Criticized
Your endorsement of Kay Davis (Oct. 5) shows how little you understand about the issues in our communities. Mrs. Davis was first elected in Point Loma. Yet she has betrayed everything that is important to good education in Point Loma public schools.
Don’t you know that Point Loma High School is crowded beyond its capacity? That Correia Junior High is jammed? That several Point Loma elementary schools have shut off admissions and cut new minority admissions to nothing? With these rising enrollments, Kay Davis voted to demolish Dana Junior High School.
What’s wrong with you people? Don’t you care about the people the Fourth Estate was intended to protect?
