Inglewood : Tapes on Ballot Items
Several South Bay public libraries are offering audiocassette tapes that explain state and county ballot measures that will be voted on Nov. 4.
The tapes, prepared by the California secretary of state and the Los Angeles County registrar-recorder, contain a summary of each ballot measure and arguments for and against them. The cassettes are available at libraries in Carson, El Segundo, Inglewood, Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, San Pedro and Torrance. Videocassettes that summarize selected ballot measures are also available at Torrance and Los Angeles libraries.
