A 20-year-old woman was killed Sunday afternoon when she lost control of her car on the ramp connecting Morena Boulevard and Balboa Avenue, police said.
Sheri Jean Hawkins of San Diego was headed north on Morena and turned onto the ramp about 5:05 p.m., a police spokesman said. She lost control of the vehicle, ran into an embankment and was killed when the car rolled over, he said.
