Odom: 90 Days on Drug Counts
From United Press International
A Superior Court judge in Santa Ana today sentenced former Oakland A’s pitcher John (Blue Moon) Odom to 90 days in county jail for his conviction on two drug charges.
Judge David H. Brickner also recommended that Odom, 41, of Fountain Valley voluntarily undergo 30 days of alcoholism treatment before he begins serving his sentence Oct. 7. Odom, who pitched in three World Series in the 1970s, was convicted by a Superior Court jury last month of two felony counts of selling cocaine.
