Culver City Seeks Grant for Bikeway

Culver City has applied for about $10,000 in state funds to maintain its portion of the Ballona Creek Bikepath.
The City Council voted last week to ask for a state bikeway grant, which the state has offered to cities for the past two years with no matching fund requirement. The $10,351 grant sought by the city is the highest the state will allow, according to a council staff report.
