Local News in Brief : Pacoima Knife Victim Was Van Nuys Resident

Aman found stabbed to death in his pickup truck in Pacoima Monday was identified Tuesday as Stuart Edward Margetts of Van Nuys.

Margetts, 30, was found slumped in his truck at 6:45 p.m. near a parking lot at 12601 Pierce St., Los Angeles police said.

Nearby residents told police Margetts and another man were sitting inside the truck in a parking lot. The other man was seen running away from the vehicle and Margetts drove into the street, where he died, authorities said.
