Manager Davey Johnson of the New York Mets, who played in Japan for two years, will head a team of major leaguers on a seven-game tour of that country in November.
The Americans will play a Japanese All-Star team beginning Nov. 1 in Tokyo. The series will continue Nov. 2-3 in Tokyo, shift to Fukuoka on Nov. 5, Osaka on Nov. 6 and then back to Tokyo for games Nov. 8-9.
