Hung Up on Grammar

I am not an English teacher or English fanatic, but I feel the media especially, and everyone else, should attempt to use proper English as a means to better communications.
I was surprised to see the word hanged in the caption of the photo with your article “Compact Disc Player” on Aug. 9 instead of the usual hung. Please don’t think that no one appreciates your efforts.
