U.N. officials in Seoul said that North Korean soldiers opened fire Tuesday along the demilitarized zone that divides North Korea from South Korea. No casualties were reported. It was the second time this month that North Korea fired across the demilitarized zone, prompting a return of fire, according to the U.N. officials. North Korea’s official Radio Pyongyang, however, said the incident began when South Korean soldiers fired at a North Korean guard post.
