Torrance : Hospital Given $3,000

Torrance Memorial Hospital’s Breast Examination Center has received a $3,000 donation from TRW in Redondo Beach, bringing company contributions to the center since 1981 to $30,000. The center offers educational materials, breast examinations, training in breast self-examination and follow-up services. More than 13,000 women have been served by the center, the hospital said.
